Dubai jewellers to raise game

Leading figures from Dubai's jewellery industry have urged its retail sector to make a bigger effort to rival other luxury items now available in the city's marketplace, reported Gulf News. Colin Griffith, the Chairman of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange, said the industry needs a united marketing campaign to win a bigger share of tourists' spending. Items such as watches, leather goods and perfumes have eaten into takings.
