RTA presents its strategic plan to Sharjah University

The Marketing and Corporate Communication Department (MCC), Corporate Support Services of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) presented its Strategic Plan to the University of Sharjah.
Dr. Aisha Al Busmait, Director of MCC that the university administration had asked RTA to clarify the functions and sections of MCC for presentation to the college female students of media and public relations at the university to enrich their knowledge of RTA in Dubai, especially MCC and clarify the magnitude of the work of such departments in other authorities and institutions.
She added that the department constitutes the most important part for many facts the most important of which that this department is the fundamental link between such an institution or body and the client; but now it is very different, as there is another party must be taken care of and it is the public who represents an important role in the success of this department, because Marketing and Corporate Communication is in charge of hearing all the views of the public, evaluating them and to accomplish them, so as to have the client satisfied. This can only be achieved through concerted efforts and work to overcome all obstacles.
Badria Mohamed Khalifa Public Relations Manager at MCC gave a detailed presentation on MCC, its sections, its tasks and future plans.
During the presentation, the message of MCC was explained based on the commitment to principles and practices of strategic communication and effective marketing, design, develop and enhance the image of RTA as well as strengthen its marketing within and outside Dubai.
In addition to explaining the functions of MCC and its six different sections of marketing, media and promotion, events, public relations, publishing, coordination and identification of RTA, its projects, activities and various marketing campaigns and events it organizes or participates in them, along with the development of networking with concerned bodies and institutions of the public and private sectors, and visitors and residents in the Emirate of Dubai.
