Twelve countries participate in Effat College's International Fair

Twelve countries participated in Effat College's International Education Fair that took place on campus on April 29th, 2007.

The countries that participated in this event were Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Jordon, Malaysia, Netherlands, Turkey, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States of America. Several students from the Turkish International School and other schools participated in this event. The educational representatives of these countries explained to Effat and other female students about the educational programs that are present in their countries. These embassy officials readily assisted students in their enquiries. The Education Consultants Company (EDUCON), which represents 15 leading universities from Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, was also present at the fair.

Dr.Kimberly Laboone, Director of Enhancement Centers at Effat College explained the objective of the Education Fair.She expounded, "The aim of this fair is to provide opportunities to Effat students and other high-school students to learn about the post graduate programs that are available in various countries and to enable them to choose the programs that best fulfil their individual educational needs.

Mr. Roland Crema, the Educational Attaché at the French Embassy in Riyadh thanked Effat College for hosting this important event and emphasized that the French Embassy was happy to participate in this event in order to inform Saudi and expatriate females about the various educational opportunities that France can offer.
