- PRESS RELEASE
The region's leading youth brands will meet and discuss how to build lasting connections and loyalty with the fickle Middle East youth market as well as to create a base of young brand advocates, at the region's 2nd Annual Kids & Youth Marketing Summit Middle East, which will take place on 27 - 30 May 2007 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
To give the keynote session in this conference, Damas Managing Director and General Manager for Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, Tawhid Mohd. Taher Abdullah has cited the booming youth market as driving the luxury goods sector in the region.
"Our research on Pan Arab youth shows that more than 50% are under the age of 25. The majority of them, especially in the GCC, have high disposable income which they enjoy spending on lifestyle products," mentioned Monisha Cooper, Marketing Manager-U.A.E, World Gold Council.
Rakhi Sharma, marketer for Sony Walkman says, "Today's youth are more intelligent and knowledgeable than ever." She is also a speaker at the IQPC's Kids & Youth Marketing Conference and is confident that "only this event will deliver exclusive insight into their attitudes and motivations so we can truly understand, engage and connect with our target market"
A highlight of this summit will be the region's first 'live youth and live parents' panel taking place during the 2-day conference allowing delegates to gain unprecedented insights into their core target market as well as the 'Online strategies, new mediums and latest technology uncovered' post conference Masterclass held by MSN Arabia.
