University of Dubai organizes time management course

Student affairs and students consultancy departments of the University of Dubai (UD) in cooperation with WATANI Program, organized a free training course for female students on 'How to Manage Time' at the university building during 29- 30 April 2007.

Dr. Nasser Al Aamry, professor at the education faculty of United Arab Emirates University, lectured during the course.

The course's organization fits with the multiple courses program which the university is organizing and supervising during the whole academic year. They aim to develop students' abilities and skills in many important issues that will be discussed during the courses. UD is also arranging and cooperating with several specialized sectors and companies to organize such courses related to students' interests and training needs.

The course, which is directed toward female students, aims at providing the best ways to organize and manage time for maximum benefit to achieve goals. It tries to chalk out a balance between responsibilities and duties, desires and purposes.

The course discussed the factors that help in managing time through a training program which include areas like planning and listing ideas, time adjustment, learning from failures and mistakes, the importance of specifying priorities and how to take advantage of the opportunities provided by modern technical devices to achieve success.
