Air Arabia participates in Arabian Travel Market

Air Arabia, the first low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, announced today its participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the international industry trade fair that will be held in Dubai from May 1-4, 2007.

This is the fourth year that Air Arabia has participated in ATM, and the Sharjah-based carrier looks forward showcasing its latest business developments and future plans during the four-day trade fair.

Kyle Haywood, Commercial Director, Air Arabia, said:

"This is an extremely exciting time for the Middle East travel and hospitality sector, with a combination of high growth and significant infrastructure investment taking place across the region. Air Arabia's participation in ATM, which is expected to attract 2,000 exhibitors from 59 countries, comes in line with our vision of promoting growth through increased cooperation among all those involved in the industry."


He continued: "According to recent forecasts, Middle East passenger traffic will grow at an annual rate of 7.1 per cent through 2015, compared to a global average of 5.3 per cent. From 2016-2025, Middle East passenger traffic is predicted to grow 5.2 per cent annually, compared to a global average of 4.4 per cent. These are extremely promising statistics, and Air Arabia looks forward to serving this growing customer base."

Air Arabia's pavilion will be located at Stand No. UAE 115, UAE Region, Zabeel Hall, Dubai World Trade Center. Arabian Travel Market will be open to professionals from the travel and hospitality industry from 11:00AM-6:00PM from May 1-3, 2007. It will be open to the public from 4:00PM-9:00PM on May 4, 2007.
