The participants were led by Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, Director General of the ADTA. Other participants included division managers.
The one-day course was delivered by Awad bin Hassoum Al Darmaki, Assistant Undersecretary for Administration and Finance in Al Ain Municipality.

The topics covered during the course included various concepts of leadership at the regional and international levels. Particular emphasis was also laid on the leadership style of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in addition to other success stories in the world.
The course further dwelt on strategic planning, effective leadership and levels of development.
According to Abdul Aziz Al Al Hamadi, Director of Administration and Finance, the course was important because it dealt with the topics discussed from a local perspective and how such theories could practically be applied in government institutions.

The participants, he said, were positive about the course. In view of the success of the leaders' course, it has been decided that another course be held next week for middle rank staff.
