Abu Dhabi to restore French palace

Abu Dhabi has agreed to finance at a cost of 10m euros the restoration of the historic Chateau de Fontainebleau in France. As part of the deal, the Napoleon III Theatre will be renamed Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan Theatre. Abu Dhabi is looking to increase cultural and tourism projects with France, having started a campus of the Sorbonne University and agreeing to establish a branch of the Louvre museum.
