EADS Defence & Security signs agreement with Abu Dhabi Police to create comprehensive security system

Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) and EADS has signed an agreement to create the Master Plan for a comprehensive security system and a road map for its implementation.
The said agreement additionally includes the provisioning of site survey services, determination and characterization of systems and the definition of comprehensive solutions to fulfil the requirements of GHQ of Abu Dhabi Police.
The said agreement was signed on behalf of Abu Dhabi GHQ by Major General Mohamed Jumaa Al Darmaki, Director General of Installations Security Unit and on behalf of EADS by Hervé Guillou, CEO of Defence and Communications Systems (DCS) at EADS Defence & Security.
"We are looking forward to an integrated team approach with the Abu Dhabi Police headquarters, as this is essential for a true achievement. Such a tremendous programme can only be conducted successfully in a joint manner where both parties, teams work together in a trustful and integrated way," said Hervé Guillou, CEO of DCS.
Defence and Communications Systems (DCS) is the EADS Systems House and an integrated Business Unit of the EADS Defence & Security Division (DS). DS is a systems solutions provider combining military air systems, missile systems, communications and intelligence systems, global security solutions, sensor and avionics systems, as well as test and support solutions into a single effective network.
