New Resident Manager at Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai

Alexander Wassermann brings along a vast amount of international experience in hotel management. The German national started his career 15 years ago in a renowned hotel in Germany, and once obtained his degree in Hotel Management moved abroad to work for international brands including Kempinski, Steigenberger and Hilton in destinations like Dallas/USA and Shanghai/CHINA.
In 2003 Wassermann joined Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts in their property at Dead Sea/Jordan in the position of Director of Food & Beverage and moved thereafter to another property of the rapidly expanding company - the Moevenpick Resort Taba, in Egypt.

Having gained a wide range of international experience with renowned properties, Wassermann now took the position of Resident Manager at the Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai, where he is working very closely with Michael Nugent, General Manager of the property.

Alexander will be in charge of the operational needs of the hotel, and his strong background in F&B allows him, to shift his focus on to the Rooms Division, as well as Sales & Marketing. The property is expecting to add another 25 rooms during this year and the Residence Tower close by is aimed to be taken on board before 2008 as well.Wassermann will ensure, that all planned additions and changes in the hotels hardware will go smoothly and will overlook the product improvement.

Alexander is 35 years old and is enjoying the move to Dubai with his wife and baby daughter. The family is excited to have arrived at such a lively, vibrant and modern place and with the professional challenges ahead, Alexander is proud to be part of the Management Team at the Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai.
