The company also announced infrastructure work on Mizin's 11 million square feet Arjan development, located opposite Dubai Autodrome, will begin its Phase 1 in May. Phase 1 infrastructure developments comprise roadworks and lighting, while Phase II focuses on connecting networks, pipelines and other facilities.
Sami Al Hashmi, Chief Executive Officer of Mizin said: "Our work at Liwan has started and is progressing as scheduled. We hope to have all Phase I infrastructure ready according to plan, and expect to hand over plots to investors for development soon after.

Al Hashmi pointed out the Phase I infrastructure work at the Downtown of New Dubai - the 16.5 million square feet Majan development - was finished in May 2006, ahead of the initial completion date of September 2006.
Mizin's main differentiating philosophy is to provide phase I infrastructure, allowing developers the least possible lead-time in starting work on their projects. As a result, developers have the advantage of avoiding delays and consequent escalation in project costs.
