Cirque goes to Palm

Cirque du Soleil is getting a 'permanent' home in Dubai, following an agreement with local developer Nakheel, AFP reported. A 1,800-seat theatre will be built on the Palm Jumeirah for performances of the modern circus. The show would be presented for 15 years under the deal. Cirque's Quidam ran for an extended two-month term in Dubai earlier this year.
