Iran oil revenues rise 13.6%

Iran's oil revenue rose 13.6% to $54bn in the Iranian year ending March 21, according to National Iranian Oil Company MD Gholam-Hossein Nozari, cited by the Financial Times. Nozari said Iran would increase its oil production this year, but gave no specific details. Production reached 3.9m bpd last Iranian year. The oil sector needs $15bn in investment to expand capacity, Nozari was quoted as saying.
