Air Arabia plans more hubs

Sharjah-based Air Arabia is looking for locations for a second hub as its route network widens. The budget airline is eyeing sites in the Middle East, India, the Mediterranean region and Central Asia, according to CEO Adel Ali quoted by Emirates Today. Air Arabia has reported a profit of $11.8m in Q1 2006, generally its quietest period, on revenues of $68.6m.
