Thrifty augments existing portfolio with conveniently located outlets across MENA and Indian Subcontinent

New outlets in the UAE, India and Turkey were added to the Thrifty Car Rental portfolio in the region, it was announced today at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2007.
"During 2006 we experienced enormous growth and expansion across the region, and 2007 is no exception. The new outlets, all conveniently-located and offering high-quality transportation solutions, enhance our presence in the region and firmly establish Thrifty as the car rental company of choice no matter where one is in the Middle East, Turkey and Indian Subcontinent," added Eltibi.
Thrifty UAE also announced new outlets in Jumeirah Beach Residence, Ras Al Khaimah, and at an upcoming business park, all scheduled to open before the end of the year. This is in addition to its current portfolio, which includes 24 outlets in the UAE, including the newly-opened Dubai Festival City outlet.
With a fleet numbering in excess of 13,000 vehicles, Thrifty is now the largest car rental organization in the UAE and, with its wide variety of models - incorporating everything from the basic yet value-for-money Honda Accord to the more adventurous Mitsubishi Pajero and the luxurious BMW 7 series - holds true to its word of providing transport within every price bracket.
