DDF spends $27.2m on space

Dubai Duty Free is spending more than $27.2m in building up its total retail area at Dubai International Airport, reported Gulf News. DDF currently has 80,000 sqft of retail space but by November the company will open 110,000 sqft at concourse two of the new terminal three and a further 60,000 sqft at concourse three is scheduled to open in 2009. DDF is targeting annual sales of $1bn by 2009.
