Taqwa International School opens in Riyadh

With a modest informal ceremony and in presence of the registered and prospective parents, Taqwa International School management announced the launch of Taqwa International School in Riyadh, currently offering classes from Nursery to Grade II of the Indian CBSE system.
"Our goal is to address both sides of child development, career and character" explained M H Zulqarnain, Chairman, Board of Governors, adding that education according to the school philosophy is not limited to excellence in literacy and numeracy, but is also very much concerned with character development. That's why every school includes this among its prime objectives. How much of this is really achieved is a different story. TIS intends to take this a bit more seriously."
"There is a high demand among the expatriate community for quality education. Indians comprising the largest chunk of non-Arab expatriates are looking for the best among various alternatives available for their children. We want to be in the forefront to fulfil this demand", said Khalid Abdullah Al Rajhi, Director General of the school.
The school is in the process of developing the Innovative, Dynamic, Entertaining, Applied Learning (IDEAL) methodology and is committed to continuous improvement in all spheres of its activity. "Continuous improvement in the ways students are taught and mentored are both necessary and possible", said Dr. Basha, Academic Supervisor.
"The school is housed in a spacious and well-equipped premises on Khurais Road in Eastern Riyadh in proximity to Indian community neighbourhoods.
