QNB platinum sponsor for Leadership and Corporate Governance

Qatar National Bank (QNB) announced its platinum sponsorship for the 'Leadership and Corporate Governance: Challenges of the Financial Sector' conference.

The conference is held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saoud Al Thani, the Governor of Qatar's Central Bank, on Tuesday 8 May at the Four Seasons Hotel. It is organized by Al Bank Wa Al Mustathmer Magazine.

Mr. Ali Shareef Al Emadi, Acting Chief Executive of QNB, said:

The conference will bring together banking experts and senior officials from the GCC countries and the Arab world, as well as a number of corporate and business leaders. Subjects on the conference's agenda will include a number of issues related to banking leadership and corporate governance in the financial sector, as well as the central banks' role in developing the sector and keeping pace with the economic growth, in addition to the Islamic banking sector.

The event will offer participants the chance to conduct a wide range of discussions that will lead to results and recommendations on how to reach the modern financial sector. It will also be the platform that will allow interested to meet and exchange their expertise and opinions on leadership and corporate governance, which could constitute basic instructions for the financial market's requirements.
