HP Middle East appoints new General Manager for Personal Systems Group

HP Middle East today announced the appointment of Serdar Urcar as the new General Manager of Personal Systems Group (PSG) in the Middle East. Urcar will be joining PSG working from the Dubai office, with immediate effect.
Urcar will be responsible for managing the 11 countries in the region including the UAE, KSA, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain and will host and manage the distribution and commercial channels for all products and services.
Jos Brenkel, Vice President, PSG, HP, Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa, commented: "This is an exciting time for HP Middle East, with a strong existing team and with the appointment of Serdar, we look forward to continuing the success we have achieved in the region."
Serdar Urcar, General Manager, PSG, HP Middle East, said: "For the next 6-12 months my first priority will be to keep the momentum and team spirit which made us successful in the region. On top of that main focus will be driving growth with more emphasis on stronger country organizations, by ensuring the top consumer choice and creating more value for our business customers. Our channel ecosystem will go on to be our biggest asset for these objectives besides our people "
Urcar replaces Anil Gandhi who begins his new role as Director of Global Business Program for PSG World Wide Commercial Sales Team on 1st May 2007.
