Cathay Pacific introduces China holiday packages
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, May 08 - 2007 at 10:26
- PRESS RELEASE
UAE travelers can now take a break from their busy schedule and explore mystical China as Cathay Pacific introduces its China holiday packages.
The China travel package includes a round-trip air ticket, three-night and four-day hotel accommodation with breakfast and airport-hotel-airport transfer. The products feature China's five promising cities, including most popular Shanghai and Beijing and less explored Kunming, Guilin and Qingdao.
It offers accommodation ranging from premium to budget hotels, providing travelers the option to choose hotels suiting their preference. And inasmuch as Cathay's tour packages route through Hong Kong, travelers may combine their three-day vacation with other holiday deals being offered by the airline.
James Evans, Cathay Pacific Airways' country manager for the UAE and Oman said, "There is a strong link between China and the UAE and Cathay Pacific is pleased to open to UAE residents the opportunity to explore China in different ways. With modernity blending perfectly with nature, its rich history and culture, China is a perfect getaway for people who love sightseeing, nature exploration as well as shopping."
Evans said the packages to China "will not only bring travelers to the sights and sounds of Beijing's Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and the Great Wall, but also to the mountainous Yunnan Province known for its lush greenery and breath-taking views."
Cathay Pacific will mark its 30th anniversary in the UAE this year. Currently, the multi-awarded airline flies to Hong Kong 14 times a week with 10 direct non-stop flights and four via Bombay and Bangkok.
