RAK Power will deliver a mix of conventional and renewable power generation facilities that are both environmentally sustainable, and energy efficient, solutions for RAK's major developments.
Rak Power's shareholders are the Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA) and EP Global Energy Ltd of Cyprus (a member of the Paraskevaides Group of Companies).
The RAK Power remit includes a number of pilot projects for the provision of power and related utilities at scale. The pilots deliver combined Wind-Fuel solutions, using innovative new power generation technologies.

The RAK Investment Authority was constituted under Emiri Decree No. (2)/2005 issued by H.H. Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al khaimah (RAK) with a mandate to work towards reinforcing the investment climate in the Emirate and to promote its various economic sectors.
RAKIA is a semi-governmental body with financial and managerial independence. RAKIA has the brief of proposing investment policies, supervising their implementation, assessing economic feasibility studies pertaining to investment, and promoting developmental projects and investment opportunities, across economic sectors within RAK. Following this, RAKIA facilitates the processing of applications for new projects and supervises the set up and licensing of companies wishing to establish investment projects in RAK.
