Dubai Real Estate Institute launches flagship executive education programme on real estate development

Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the first specialised real estate institution in the region, launched today its first flagship executive education programme on Real Estate Development.

The programme, developed in cooperation with the National University of Singapore (NUS), will be delivered to Sama Dubai executives in June 2007. The customised programme addresses the unique needs of Sama Dubai to create a wide base of professional developers in the company to support its ambitious growth strategy.

The executive training programme "The Real Estate Development Process" will include sector specific content on the dynamics of creating value in real estate, market analysis, financial evaluation of development projects, acquiring development sites, financing projects, strategies to ride the market cycles, modeling the dynamics of the markets and case studies and evaluation.

Farhan Faraidooni, Executive Chairman, Sama Dubai, said: "The debut DREI programme will bring significant value to Sama Dubai. It will enrich our employees' knowledge about the industry as we move closer to our mission of leading the region in real estate development.

All academic and executive training programmes at DREI are offered in partnership with internationally accredited universities and real estate training centers.

About Dubai Real Estate Institute
As the first real estate academic institution in the region, the Dubai Real Estate Institute aims to enrich and broaden the knowledge and competencies of real estate professionals and managers at all levels. The institute, which will commence in the academic year 2007-2008, operates in partnership with several international real estate universities to offer graduate programmes and industry specific, open enrolment courses. Areas of cooperation will also include research projects and the development of case studies specific to the region.

All of the institute's offerings will be delivered in partnership with high ranking and academically accredited international universities using world class faculty, cutting edge knowledge and practice, and state of the art facilities.
