Durrat Al Bahrain exhibits at Cityscape Abu Dhabi

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom's largest planned luxury mixed-use residential, commercial and resort development, announces today that it will be exhibiting at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, which will be held in the UAE capital from today until 10 May.

This is the first year that Cityscape has been held in Abu Dhabi and Durrat Al Bahrain will be marketing the US$4 billion island based lifestyle development to prospective investors. Cityscape Abu Dhabi will attract real estate professionals and investors from across the region and the world to consider the latest trends and business opportunities in the regional property market.

When completed, Durrat Al Bahrain will comprise 11 islands of luxury villas, an hotel island, as well as the crescent, which will represent the commercial heart of Durrat Al Bahrain. Announced only a few weeks ago, the development will also boast an Ernie Els designed 18 hole championship golf precinct. With its innovative design, including water ways and green space, and with many of its 1400 villas fronting onto the course itself, an entire lifestyle community will be created. In addition, Durrat Al Bahrain will also design and build in partnership with Tameer, one of the region's leading marinas, with 400 berths.

Mr. Jassim Al Jowder, CEO of Durrat Al Bahrain, said,

Our recent exhibition in Riyadh proved very successful and these exhibitions follow our recent hugely successful MIPIM exhibition in France. We're confident that Durrat Al Bahrain will attract the same amount of interest here in Abu Dhabi."

About Durrat Al Bahrain
Durrat Al Bahrain is owned by the Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain Company, in which the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain each hold a 50 percent stake. Durrat Al Bahrain, a 20 square kilometre area of pristine waters and untouched beaches, once complete, is expected to be approximately the size of Manama, Bahrain's capital city.
