Thousands of exhibitors filled the floor space at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre today with a strong presence from the Bahrain International Circuit. The BIC's participation aspires at positioning Bahrain on the world travel map throughout the year. With a continuous increase in the number of visitors to the Kingdom during the Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix, the Bahrain International Circuit aims at contributing in the increasing business tourism in the Kingdom.

Not only is the circuit the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East but also one of the most important business facilities in the region, hosting over 539 international conferences, events and activities throughout the year in 2006.

Whether it is off-road driving on the Gulf's only purpose-built 4x4 course, learning to master the Chevrolet skid car to enhance a driver's road safety skills, skimming over the Sakhir desert on a quad bike or taking the challenging corners mastered by Schumacher, Alonso and Massa at the wheel of a race-bred Caterham sports car, the BIC has experiences to savour. It is also home to the BMW Performance Centre for those seeking dedicated race training and the Hummer Academy for the ultimate off-road experience with all of the activities available for both private and corporate hire.

The BITE event is home to displays and promotions from the region's top travel companies and venues, drawing key decision makers and the Bahrain International Circuit is displaying its range of corporate and retail experiences available throughout the year.
