DM launches 'I am with you' programme

During these regular field visits, the higher leadership will remain with the middle management staff throughout their activities and transactions of that day. The programme has been started on the first of May and will continue to be implemented on a regular basis.

Hawa Bastaki, Director of Administrative Development and Quality Department said the programme aims to provide moral support by the higher leadership to the middle management and get to know their size of work and the challenges they face during the day to day work in addition to contribute in their dealing with the challenges in order to achieve the goals of the organizational unit and the Municipality strategy. It also aims at enabling the higher leadership to undertake the supervisory task towards the middle management in the given real working places and be a model to all levels of leadership and supervisory positions in undertaking the task of follow up and supporting those led by them.

During the implementation of the programme, the higher leadership will get briefed about the level of services offered by each organizational unit to their customers and also the different aspects of executive work. The visits will also provide the higher leadership the data for formulating the future strategies and directives in addition to popularizing the best practices available in the organizational units.
