Audi Middle East brings new Audi R8 with hot country settings

  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, May 09 - 2007 at 13:58
  • PRESS RELEASE

Audi Middle East has now brought the first production model of the Audi R8 to the region.

With already more than 150 customer orders for its new mid-engine sports car - the Audi R8 - across the region, the car is being showcased to customers and VIPs in order to bridge the gap until first deliveries to customers are possible.

"Our customers are extremely excited about receiving their new Audi R8. The little wait will definitely be worth their while," said Bernd Rosenbichler, Head of Marketing of Audi Middle East.

In order to cater for the extreme weather conditions in the Middle East, and the high temperatures in summer in particular, the cars are fitted with a specially designed cooling system to ensure top-performance and longevity even under the most extreme conditions.

The hot country settings are a standard on all Audi vehicles sold at Audi dealerships in the Middle East region.

While the first R8 are already being handed over in June in Europe, the Middle East introduction is expected for September 2007.
