LG Electronics appoints Batterjee Security Products Co. as sole agent in Saudi Arabia for LG security products

These include devices launched by LG for the first time in the Saudi market such as security surveillance cameras, sensors, warning devices, recorders and other digital security accessories.

LG total surveillance solution provider has a complete line up for Cameras, DVRs, Monitors, Lenses and controllers to be used for Total Security Systems.

Mr. Simon Lee, the General Manager of LG Electronics in Saudi Arabia, and Sheikh Abd AlMajeed Batterjee, chairman of the board of Al-Batterjee Group, mutually signed the sole agency agreement.

Mr. Simon Lee mentioned the importance of this agreement. He said,

'We expect expansion and increase in our business in the Saudi market in partnership with Batterjee Group, which is chosen to be the sole agent for LG security products because of its vast experience in the Saudi market and its great achievements in this field for many years.'

Sheikh Abd-AlMajeed Batterjee gratefully thanked LG Electronics, Saudi Arabia, for choosing Batterjee Security Products Company to be the sole agent for its security products in the Saudi market. He also said, 'LG products are known for its high quality which enables LG to take a leading role in the Saudi market. We'll strive for preserving what LG has achieved in this market. In addition, we plan to enhance the sales to comply with LG's reputation and its magnificent products.'

Especially in 2007, LG is launching new DVRs which feature an 'Internal Super Multi DVD Drive' which will enable customers to use any CD or DVD for back up. In the future, LG will have full line up for 'Network Surveillance System' as well as 'Analog's'.

Mr. K. W. Kim, the president of LG in the Middle East and Africa, assured the importance of the Middle East markets in general, and the Saudi market in particular because it has so much potential for security Business due to economic booms and construction of mega projects all over the Kingdom, there will be high demand for safety and security products in the region.

He said, 'LG is eager to present the best and the latest products in the Middle East markets. No doubt, the agreement signed with Batterjee Security Products Company will add so much to LG to consolidate its position in the Saudi market, to enlarge its share in this market and to promote better customers service.'
