New Hilton Area President hosts investors' dinner

Jean-Paul Herzog, newly appointed President of Hilton Hotels in Middle East and Africa, hosted a private dinner for 30 investors, developers and consultants at Gordon Ramsay's Hilton Dubai Creek restaurant.

Gordon Ramsay, Verre's renowned three-star Michelin chef, flew in for the occasion to mark Herzog's official introduction to the region as President of Hilton Hotels in Middle East and Africa.

Herzog said, "With the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference happening this week and my return to Dubai, we thought it timely to host this special event along with our senior operations and development team, to underscore our strategic focus on development and growth. The Middle East is a key development market for us, where we aim to add another 20 new management agreements to our current pipeline of 11 hotels within the next five years. Our new mid-market brands will be strong players in this market."

The Middle East and Africa region covers a current portfolio of 44 hotels and a pipeline of 13 in the Arabian Peninsula, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Africa and Indian Ocean, all headquartered in Dubai.
