Manufactured by DEXION, the racking system will be used for the storage of home furniture products.

Covering a total area of 23,957 square meters, this multi-tier racking system from FAMCO has been designed with a goods-lift, lighting, fire-sprinklers and smoke detectors on all floor levels. The structural integrity in the design and product ensures safe working for hundreds of personnel to work simultaneously at various locations on the mezzanine floors at peak hours.

Speaking on this project, Mr. Ayman Ahmed, Divisional Manager said, "This was a very exciting yet challenging project for us and we are glad that it was not only successfully completed but also that it has strengthened our relationship with the client who has recently awarded us two new projects."

"This milestone project reflects FAMCO's strengths in the design, supply and installation of storage and handling solutions and we look forward to handling even greater projects in the UAE in the future," he added.

FAMCO and DEXION have a proven record in providing successful high quality solutions to their customers' business requirements. A project of this magnitude reflects FAMCO's ability to establish, document and train its sales and engineering teams on the processes and methodologies that are key in achieving successful projects.

Following the completion of this project, FAMCO has been awarded with two additional projects from the same group for the supply & installation of various storage systems, namely at Babyshop's warehouse and at the Landmark Group (RNA) in JAFZ.
