Multi-feature Internet portal for UAE launched

Developers of the popular UAE movie website, UAEFilms.com, have launched an Internet portal for the UAE named The Emirates Network (TEN) 'http://www.theemiratesnetwork.com/'.
Some of the other services provided on the portal are used automobile search, stock market charts, domain registration and online greeting cards. TEN has a large amount of information, ranging from automobile dealers and daily news to music charts and computer articles.
"Not to make any group of Internet users feel left out, we have a section for kids and Islam. The kids sections contains links to various education and entertaining websites for kids and they have been arranged according to the rating of a child. The Islam section covers Muslim news, daily UAE prayer times and an Islamic search, powered by Hamza - The Islamic Search Engine. Each of these sections will continue to grow as time progresses and TEN will soon include sections for women and teenagers.", quoted TEN's webmaster, Yousuf Philips.
