Saraya Aqaba to construct Aqaba Youth Club

Saraya Aqaba Real Estate and Development Company PSC has signed recently an agreement to construct the new building of the Aqaba Youth Club.
The signing of agreement comes in line with the agreement previously signed between Saraya Aqaba and Aqaba Youth Club for Sports and Culture and Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in 2006, whereby Saraya Aqaba committed to construct the new building of the club.
His Excellency Eng. Nader Al-Dahabi Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority stressed on Saraya Aqaba's role towards contributing into the development of Aqaba as well as enhancing Aqaba's position on the regional touristic and investment map, pointing out the importance of the public-private partnership towards flourishing Aqaba, which was manifested in this agreement that ensures Saraya Aqaba's commitment to support Aqaba's local community.
Furthermore, Saraya Aqaba's General Manager Mr. "Shadi Ramzi" Al Majali stated: "Building the Aqaba Youth Club incorporates our social responsibility towards Aqaba, and paves the way for the Aqaba Youth Club to play its role in capitalizing on the youth's potential towards contributing in positively building their community," Mr. Majali added "The youth is the potential human resources we believe in, and they will be our bright future that will place Aqaba the global touristic map."
This signing agreement also comes in line with Saraya Aqaba's commitment towards benefiting the local community, where Saraya Aqaba has recently adopted a school as part of the Government's school adoption program, as well as the students scholarship fund inside and outside the Kingdom, in addition to other projects aiming towards raising the social and economic standards of residents surrounding the project, and promoting a better life by investing in education and employment, while preserving the local culture and the surrounding environment.

About Saraya AqabaSaraya Aqaba is Saraya Holding ltd first project located on the western tip of Aqaba around a man-made lagoon. The project will commence operations within three years, adding approximately 1.5km of beachfront to the Gulf of Aqaba.
The project comprises approximately 617,000sqm (not including Radisson SAS land) of master planned development combining shopping, dining, entertainment, freehold accommodation and cultural activities within the context of an authentically styled ancient city, all built around a man-made lagoon. The approximate total cost of the project is one billion US dollar.
Saraya Aqaba features four premium 5-star hotels and two boutique hotels. Saraya Aqaba aims to cater to the needs of Aqaba's local residents, as well as regional and international visitors and businessmen.
Saraya Holdings Ltd founding partners in this project are the Social Security Corporation (SSC), the Arab Bank, the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), and a number of individual and corporate investors.
The exclusive build contractor for Saraya Aqaba project is Saudi Oger Ltd, ensuring the delivery of the highest specifications and construction standards.
