Specialist presents Islamic finance to Kuwaiti investors
- Kuwait: Saturday, November 03 - 2001 at 11:08
- PRESS RELEASE
Dr. Hasnita Hashim the CEO of IslamiQ - the specialized financial services provider and authority on Islamic investment services, will make a special presentation on the latest opportunities offered by IslamiQ's unique Islamic financial services.
"Kuwait is an important market to IslamiQ, because Kuwaiti investors have traditionally always been very active in Islamic finance. We are finding more and more of the Islamic population turning towards Islamic sources for banking and investment, especially in the Middle East, and it is this trend that we are trying to support and nurture. People attending our lecture should be very pleasantly surprised to learn that there are many Islamic alternatives, now available, to conventional finance and investment, at very comparable, if not better rates of return. Education plays a big part of IslamiQ's drive to open peoples eyes, to the benefits of the Islamic banking, finance and investment - hence our continual drive to reach out to potential investors through lectures, seminars and online information," commented Malek Al Ajeel, executive vice president of IslamiQ.
The Islamic community has approximately $150 billion invested in Islamic capital markets worldwide, and this figure is expected to increase 20% annually. The Kuwait Presentation will demonstrate the confident growth of IslamiQ since its launch in August 2000 and its success in Islamic finance in the USA and Europe. The company is now positioned as the leading provider of online Islamic finance and investment services internationally.
