Jebel Ali Hospital recognizes excellence in nursing

A part of the Matrix Continued Medical Education program rolled out by the hospital, the talk follows the international theme set by the International Nursing Council for the day; Positive practice environments: Quality workplaces = quality patient care. Dr Suresh Menon, specialist physician at Jebel Ali Hospital will deliver the talk.

In recognition of the tireless services provided by these nurses, Jebel Ali Hospital will also give out appreciation certificates and gifts. All nursing staff members from other hospitals and private organizations have been invited to attend. Stellar contributions will be felicitated at a special awards ceremony which will follow the talk.

International Nurses Day celebrates the contribution and commitment of these untiring care providers. The day coincides with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered to be the mother of the modern nursing.
