One of the attractions of The Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion was its lunch reception, hosted on 17th and 18th April 2007. Draws took place after the lunch reception offering prizes such as roundtrip tickets on Gulf Air to Bahrain complete with five-star deluxe hotel accommodation.
As an expression of gratitude for the unwavering support extended by the IMEX Team to the exhibitors from Bahrain, Tourism Affairs representative Mr. Isa Jassim Al-Obaidly, Acting Director of Marketing & Tourism Promotion and Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) representative Ms. Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen, Director for MICE, Destination Marketing & P.R., presented a miniature wooden dhow from Bahrain to Mr. Ray Bloom, Chairman of Regent Exhibitions, the IMEX organiser, on the Bahrain Stand on 18th April 2007.
BECA met with over 50 qualified meeting planners and buyers who have expressed interest in organising future MICE events in Bahrain as well as members of the media during the three-day event.
