Sony's attractive Cyber-shot T-series digital cameras become the life of the party

The new Cyber-shot T-series incorporate a unique face detection technology, high ISO sensitivity of up to ISO3200, a powerful 5x optical zoom and High Definition output to view high quality still images.

In colours to match your party gear and less than an inch thick, both cameras can easily slip into a purse or the pocket of a jacket. Cyber-shot DSC-T20

The perfect partner for any occasion, the Cyber-shot T20 is available in a choice of silver, black, white and pink colour finish options. Despite its compact lines, there's a wealth of Sony technology packed inside that makes capturing, enjoying and sharing those special moments easier and more fun than ever before.

The T20 sets new standards for crisper, clear pictures from an incredibly compact, slim-line camera. At 8.1 effective megapixels, its sensor offers the highest resolution yet of any T Series Cyber-shot. Image quality is further assured by the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® 3x optical zoom lens.

The T20 also includes the new Sony Face Detection technology (also available in the DSC-T100). This harnesses the power of the BIONZ imaging processor (that is also present in Sony's digital SLR camera Alpha) to ensure that beautifully-exposed, perfectly focused faces are captured ... just as they should be. The hardware-based processor can rapidly recognise and track up to eight human faces in different scenes, automatically optimising focus, exposure, flash with red-eye reduction, white balance and colour settings accordingly. The result: beautiful portraits and group shots under different conditions, even in low light or with moving subjects.

Cyber-shot DSC-T100

The T100 is also the first T-Series Cyber-shot camera to include a 5x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® lens that gets closer to the action with the most powerful optical zoom performance found on any Sony compact camera. An ideal partner for the camera's powerful 5x zoom lens is Sony's Double Anti-blur technology, which teams the Super SteadyShot (Sony's optical image stabilizer), with an extremely high sensitivity of ISO 3200, allowing the T100 to capture clearer, blur-free images indoors or in difficult low light conditions without flash.

The T100 features a large 3-inch Clear Photo LCD plus screen where images can be viewed with exceptional detailing, contrast and colour accuracy. Slide Show mode displays stored images in sequence with a choice of musical accompaniments and transition effects. Connect the T100 to any BRAVIA television or HD ready display (requires optional cable) and Slide Shows with music can be enjoyed in 16:9 widescreen format.

The big 3-inch screen also makes it easy to improve your pictures further with a range of in-camera retouching features - without the need for transferring images to a PC. Trimming and red-eye reduction are completed by soft focus filter, cross filter, part colour filter and fish-eye filter effects.

High Definition Experience with T-series

To fully enjoy the High Definition experience use the optional Cyber-shot station CSS-HD1. Just place the Cyber-shot T20 or T100 on the station and use it for real HD slideshows. It will also charge your camera and comes supplied with all the necessary connectors and a remote control for ease of use. Another affordable option for the full HD experience is the VMC-MHC1 cable that plugs directly to your Cyber-shot and allows for full HD playback through your television. Other optional accessories include a range of high quality genuine leather cases in a variety of colours to match your camera and personality.
