The three day event will feature seminars, exhibits and networking opportunities for UAE nationals to interact directly with employers, recruiters and managers from many of the region's leading companies. Tawdheef 2007 will gather organisations from various sectors, including government, financial services, training, education, recruitment agencies, hospitality and tourism, oil and gas, commerce and trade groups, transport, aviation and others.

Organised by Al Hader Exhibitions & Conferences, the show has attracted sponsorship from several industry giants, including the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Emiratisation Council, Etisalat, the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, ADNOC, Mubadala, and Etihad Airways.

Simon Horgan, Chief Executive Officer, ADNEC, commented, 'As the premier show of its kind in the emirate, we are expecting a lot of visitors to attend from around the country who want to be part of the amazing growth going on in Abu Dhabi. We are delighted to host such an important event and participate in the development of the emirate's next generation of business leaders.'

Construction work has recently commenced on Phase 2 of ADNEC, which will see the venue double in size to become the Middle East's largest purpose-built exhibition centre.
When construction finishes in autumn 2008, the venue will feature more than 55,000 square metres of inter-connected exhibition floor space, a multi-purpose hall with seating for more than 5,000 people, 31 meeting rooms and two multi-storey car parks with space for more than 8,000 vehicles.

Phase 1 of ADNEC was opened in February 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The venue has already hosted 10 major international exhibitions, welcoming more than 250,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.

Tawdheef 2007 will be the eleventh event to be held at ADNEC since its opening.
