The announcement was made at a special ceremony in Dubai at the conclusion of the 4th annual Arabian Travel Market exhibition.
"We were absolutely delighted to receive this news," says Riffa's general manager, Michael Braidwood. "We received a similar award last year, also in second place, and I am confident that once our new Colin Montgomerie-designed championship golf course opens next April, we will be voted into first place!"
