American Express enhances Cardmember convenience with new online payment solution

American Express Middle East today announced the launch of its online payment system that enables Bahrain-based Cardmembers to pay their statement bills online.

This new initiative is part of American Express' drive to enhance customer service offerings with easier and simpler options for making bill statements.

Paul Saks, Regional Manager, Emerging Markets, American Express Middle East & North Africa said,

"We live in a fast paced world where convenience at our fingertips is becoming increasingly important. With our new online services, our Cardmembers can settle their bills wherever they are in the world with faster and easier access to their Card Accounts. The introduction of this system supports our mission to continuously improve the services we provide to our Cardmembers."


The online services will be offered by eleven banks in Bahrain including Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, Ahli United Bank B.S.C, Bank Muscat International, Mashreq Bank, Shamil Bank of Bahrain, Alsalam Bank, Bahrain Islamic Bank, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, United Bank Limited, Bahrain Saudi Bank and Habib Bank.

Through the new online services, Cardmembers will have 24/7 access to their Card Accounts; they can view their payment history, make bill payment or print a copy of their statement.
