Thai Airways increases Dubai - Bangkok capacity for summer 2007

THAI announces two additional flights per week from Dubai to Bangkok commencing 5 July until 18 August 2007 to accommodate increased demand from the Middle East during the summer vacation period.
As a final destination, Thailand itself welcomed over 367,500 visitors from the Middle East in 2006, representing a 31% increase for the period January - November 2006 over the previous year with the most popular domestic destinations being Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang Mai.
Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok, is THAI's home base and already firmly established as a key regional gateway and aviation crossroads with convenient onward connections on THAI to 11 domestic cities within Thailand, 39 destinations in Asia, and five in Australia/New Zealand.
