- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, May 15 - 2007 at 15:07
- PRESS RELEASE
The third Digital Consumer Channel Middle East and North Africa (DCC MENA) opened its doors today to key IT vendors and retailers around the region at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, Fujeirah.
The event has been completely sold out and sees an increase of over 25 percent in participation to over 300 participants representing 120 retailers and 50 international vendors and their distribution partners.
"We have registered around 50 key vendors including over 15 newcomers to the event," said Farouk Hemraj, CEO and co-founder of DISTREE Events. "DCC MENA has proved in the course of the past years to have become a vital platform for vendors to meet potential and existing retail partners across the region. Its unique format allows key decision makers at both levels to have quality meetings with potential business partners across a wide region that would normally incur additional travel costs and time."

The list of vendors and distributors (representing key vendors) registered at the event include (in alphabetical order): Al Yousuf Digital, Almasa Distribution, Altec Lansing, APM, Buffalo Technology, BullGuard Ltd, Comma, Creative, Delta Business Products FZCO, Despec MENA, Digital Clone, Emitac Distribution, E-Retail, FDC International, Gear4, Genius Computer, Golden Systems Electronics, HTC/Link Retail Distribution, iDo Pocket PC, i-mate/Source IT, Imation, Iris, King Computer Distribution, Lexmark, Logitech, MGE UPS Systems, MGM Store Solutions, Microsoft Xbox 360/Pluto DG, Mobility, NEUS, O2, PALM Middle East, Panasonic, Parrot, PNY Technologies, Port Europe, Promate Technologies, Sky Electronics, Swiss Travel Products/Active IT Distribution, Techgear, TechnoWorld, Toshiba, Touchmate, Trust International, Tucano, US Robotics, Viewsonic, and Western Digital.
