DM activates training partnership with government departments

Dubai Municipality is hosting a training session for different local government departments on financial analysis and writing financial reports.

The course, conducted as part of the series of training programmes organized by the civic body for the year 2007, was attended by employees of Dubai Real Estate Department, Dubai Police and Dubai Land Department in addition to a group of employees in the Finance Department in the Municipality.

Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Head of Human Resources Development Section in the Personnel Department said the training programme will strengthen the ongoing coordination and partnership between the local government departments in the field of qualifying and training local government cadres.

Al Zarouni said the course is aimed at teaching the participants the importance of financial analysis and using financial indexes in decision making, briefing the participants on the methods and ways to analyze financial indexes, the tools used for analysis and also the benefits of financial analysis for investments.
