Jazan project signs US firm

Saudi's Western Way for Industrial Development has signed agreements with the US' Gerald Metals relating to a proposed aluminium plant at Jazan Economic City. Gerald will supply bauxite to the plant and buy all the aluminium produced. Gerald Metals says it has an option to participate in up to 20% of the equity of the project, but a decision is dependent on the completion of final feasibility and financing arrangements.
