Together with Emirates' National Recruitment & Development, Emirates Hotels & Resorts has carefully designed a novel training programme to groom graduate trainees and recruits for a career in the hospitality industry. At the Open Day, candidates will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from Emirates' National Recruitment and gather information on the various positions available.

Abdulaziz Al Ali, Emirates' Executive Vice President Human Resources said: "Emirates Hotels & Resorts has ambitious growth plans and is looking to recruit more than 3,000 staff in the next five years for every facet of hotel operations. While Emiratis traditionally do not look for jobs in the hospitality industry, it is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally. Emirates has an excellent track record of welcoming an increasing number of UAE nationals into its fold. We offer excellent career prospects across the Emirates Group's diverse range of divisions and brands. Emirates has created a work atmosphere where Emiratis feel confident and eager to contribute to our success and Dubai's growth."
Recently, Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates National Development Programme (ENDP), to boost training and employment opportunities for talented young UAE nationals. Emirates' National Recruitment & Development department is staffed by 25 personnel and backed by a training budget of AED 60 million. UAE Nationals are seeking careers with the Emirates Group in larger numbers and 35 per cent of Emirates' senior management, and 12 per cent of its cockpit crew, aircraft licensed engineers and mechanics are UAE nationals.
