Sharjah Municipality Center opens in Al Khalidia to improve customer service

The center's opening was attended by several of the Municipality's Department and Section managers. During a tour of the new center, H.E. viewed the various services that will be available. The following departments that will be providing services at the new center are: the Tenancy Registration, Markets Observations, Solid Waste, Engineering Inspection, Agricultural, Public Services and Fines Payment Section.

H.E. Salah Al Haj stated that in the Municipality's effort to reduce application and transaction times and to provide their clients with high-quality services, the Municipality plans to open similar centers for Engineering Tenancy Registration applications and other departments.

He also added that the Emirate of Sharjah is currently witnessing ongoing developments in the residential and constructional industry and, therefore, require practical solutions to provide their clients with efficient services in all fields. To do this, services will be provided in centers that will be more accessible to their clients.

H.E. Salah Al Haj concluded that Sharjah Municipality's mission is to provide residents with convenient, high-quality services. To do so, Sharjah Municipality officers and residents will spare no effort to accomplish their goals - a lesson learned from H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.

For the technical side, Al Khalidia center will provide the aforementioned services for areas between Al Kahlidiah and Al Nahda, to cover Al Majaz areas 1, 2, 3, and Allayah, Al Kalidiah, Al Khan, Al Taawon, Al Mamzar and Al Nahdah.

Operations will be directed by a manager and will supervise observers, managers and technicians. The center will be interacting with the Municipality's main administration department in order to better coordinate transactions.
