- Bahrain: Thursday, May 17 - 2007 at 08:03
- PRESS RELEASE
Mr. Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Views Signature Estates, has been invited to speak at the Golf Business Forum 2007 in Budapest this week from May, 16th-18th.
The annual forum is hosted by leading professional services provider KPMG's Golf Advisory Services Practice, and offers a unique platform for experts from the world's golf and related industries to share best practice and international industry insight.
Mr. Browning commented: "Approximately 1,000 new golf courses are being established worldwide each year, of which a significant number are driven by real estate developments in emerging markets. Riffa Views Signature Estates will allow Bahrain's economy to benefit from the substantial international investment in golf real estate, and the Golf Business Forum gives us the opportunity to share our experiences with contemporaries across the world."
"In Riffa Views, Bahrain has the benefit of a custom-designed Colin Montgomerie Signature Golf Course, and this coupled with our destination's lifestyle, has sparked interest from our peers in the international golfing and real estate communities. Backed up by sound business principles, the forum will provide industry professionals the inspiration to further refine the concept of golf real estate developments."
In addition to this international recognition, Riffa Views is committed to supporting local charities and promoting Bahrain as a Middle East tourism hub, including the recent visit to the island of celebrity tennis legend, Boris Becker. In April, the Shaikh Faisal Memorial Trophy Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by Riffa Views raised BD 43,000 for the Bahrain Mobility Institute. Funds of the charity will be used to purchase transportation and modernise the Institute.
Riffa Views is due for completion by mid-2009, with the first of 972 villas ready for delivery to their new owners by mid-2008. Two of its Signature Estates namely- The Lagoons and The Oasis- are beautifully landscaped around the 18-hole Colin Montgomerie Signature championship golf course, whilst The Park Estate is set back in stunning Mediterranean surrounds. High quality leisure and retail facilities together with the Riffa Views International School combine to create one of the most desired property locations in the region... if not the world.
