Qatar, China sign banking MoU

Qatar and China have agreed to cooperate in regulating cross-border operations of their banks. A memorandum of understanding was signed between Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority and China Banking Regulatory Commission which calls for cooperation between the two bodies in licensing, supervision and the sharing of information in respect of cross-border banking operations in the QFC and China.
