- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, May 17 - 2007 at 13:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Gulf Craft Inc, the Middle East's largest boat and yacht manufacturer is overwhelmed with the response from boating enthusiasts and the growing boat trends at the Moscow, Singapore and Bangkok boat shows.
Starting at the 13th Moscow Boat show from 12 - 15 April 2007, Gulf Craft's local distributor, Market Marine, showcased the luxury Majesty Yacht range.
"Once again the Moscow boat show proved a very important pedestal for highlighting Majesty Yachts to local and international visitors. We have exhibited for many years and support the initiatives that serve to develop the boating industry here. Of course we will be exhibiting at the next 'on water' show here in June and look forward to showcasing three vessels from the popular Majesty range," commented Yuri Pilchin Vadim, Market Marine.
Moving further south, Gulf Craft participated at Boat Asia 2007 in Singapore from 19 - 22 April 2007. The boat show recently won the title of 'Best Boat Show' in Asia reinforcing the immense growth of the boating industry in the country.
Gulf Craft was represented by its dealer in Malaysia, Pen-Marine Sdn. Bhd. During the exhibition visitors were introduced to the entire Gulf Craft product range, including Majesty luxury yachts and Oryx sport cruisers. In this South-East Asia region, the customers expressed specific interest in the entry-level Majesty 44 and Majesty 50 products.
Finally, Gulf Craft enjoyed very encouraging feedback at the Bangkok International Boat Show - Boat Thai 2007. Gulf Craft's Thailand dealer "Goboating Thailand" displayed a range of pleasure craft for the company and received orders for the GC Marine Sea breeze 33 and the Gulf Craft Walkaround 31. A number of new business opportunities were presented for the Majesty 44, 50, 66 and 88 models and the smaller cruisers, Oryx 36 and Sport fishing 35 also generated interest for quotes.
"Overall April has been a positive month for Gulf Craft. Kuwait was the starting point and we are delighted that the heartening reaction to our boats has continued outside of the Middle East, said Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager, Gulf Craft.
"Participating at boats shows is targeting a strong audience for us. As boating becomes increasingly linked to affluence and grows in popularity as a leisure pursuit, we are confident that we will continue to be satisfied with the response at boat shows around the world as we continue to meet consumer demands with our wide range of boats on offer, concluded Erwin Bamps.
