Abu Dhabi TV's bureau chief in Gaza was briefly abducted by gunmen yesterday, Friday, reported Reuters. Abdul Salam Abu Askar was taken from his car at a checkpoint but was then released shortly afterwards. Abu Askar said he had been taken by the Hamas Executive Force.
