Employers must foot bills

Employers in Abu Dhabi are obliged to cover any medical expenses incurred by their workers, and their dependents, if they have not already been given health insurance, according to Ebrahim Al Mousa, the Executive Director of Finance at the Health Authority and cited by Gulf News. Al Mousa re-iterated that employers must pay for health insurance for their employees, their spouses and three of their dependents under the age of 18.
