Dubai Municipality organizes water resources management workshop

Under the patronage of the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Industry and Chairman of Dubai Municipality Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Environmental Centre for Arab Towns (ECAT), in collaboration with Dubai Municipality and the Arab Towns Organization will organize a workshop on water resources management during 23-24 May at Dusit Dubai Hotel.

The workshop titled "Integrated Water Resources Management", sponsored by the strategic partner of (ECAT), Sama Dubai, will be organized with the cooperation of the United Nations Environment Programme-Regional Office for West Asia (UNEP-ROWA).

The workshop will be led by a number of regional and international experts and professionals working in the field of Integrated Water Resources Management to exchange experiences, knowledge and ideas on the actual status of applying water policies for sustainable development in the region, with an emphasis on Integrated Water Resources Management.

During the event UNEP-ROWA and the Environmental Centre for Arab Towns will sign a Memorandum of Understanding commemorating their relationship and future collaborations on various environmental projects.
